The Crowsnest, Chipping Norton Booking Conditions
· We are a non smoking establishment. · No pets are allowed · Chipping Norton is hilly, and our house is on a slope. The apartment is on the top two floors, so we have lots of stairs. If you have limited mobility our apartment may not be for you. Our access statement has full details so if you are in doubt please ask for a copy. · Our apartment is full of character and may not be appropriate for very young children, if you have any concerns regarding this please contact us immediately We have cats, so if you have allergy issues please remember this
DEPOSIT Bookings are only final when we have received your booking form together with a deposit of one third of the rent. If a booking is made less than four weeks before arrival we require the full rent at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable unless the property becomes unavailable beyond our control (eg fire or similar disaster). FINAL PAYMENT Once the booking form is received and accepted by ourselves the tenant is liable for the final payment (the two thirds balance) of the rent four weeks before the arrival date. If this is not paid within this time span see below. CANCELLATION Tenants should notify us immediately in writing if they have to cancel their holiday. If this is before the final payment has been made we can we will try to re-let the apartment. If we succeed we will refund your deposit, less a £30 administration fee. If we are unable to re-let the apartment the balance of the rent will be due from the tenant. We would therefore strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover this eventuality. PAYMENT or CHEQUES Cheques should be made our to Mr & Mrs M W Roach. Cheques in UK£, Euros or US$ are acceptable, but the exchange rate must be agreed first. We also accept PayPal on mark@chippingnortoncotswolds.co.uk We do accept payment by BACS and SWIFT. If you require either of these options please contact us. TIMES OF ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE Lettings commence at 3.00 pm and on the day of departure you need to vacate by 10.30 am unless otherwise agreed. NON-AVAILABILITY OF PROPERTY If for any reason beyond our control (eg flood or fire) the property is not available for the dates booked all rents will be returned in full. Tenants will have no further claim on ourselves. LINEN Clean bed linen, quilts, tea towels and one bath towel & one hand towel per person are provided weekly, free of charge. BREAKAGES, LOSS OR DAMAGE DEPOSIT We insist upon a £100 deposit against breakages, loss or damage to the property or contents. The property will be assessed immediately after you have left and if there is no breakage, loss or damage your deposit will be returned during the following week.
TENANTS (YOUR) OBLIGATIONS 1. To pay for any loss or damage to the property however caused (excluding of course reasonable ware & tear). 2. To take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay. 3. If any matters come to your attention that require remedial work to let us know, and to permit reasonable access for maintenance as necessary. 4. Not to exceed the number of persons stated in the booking form unless agreed prior to occupation. 5. Tenants will generally conduct themselves with consideration to neighbours. Tenants agree not to use candles on the premises.
This contract is governed by English law and is between the owners of the holiday apartment “The Crowsnest” and the tenants specified on the booking form. The signatory of the said booking form certifies that they agree the terms of these conditions. |
